Mexico Vacation Style- STYLE INSPIRATION FOR YOUR NEXT TROPICAL VACATION

Every year my husband and I go to Mexico for a beach vacation. This is something we have been doing since we were married, so about 8 plus years. We enjoy going to Mexico because it is an easy destination to get to from Dallas. There are a number of different resorts in the Cancun/Playa Del Carmen/Tulum area that offer just about anything and everything to fit your needs. There are adults only resorts, kid friendly, all in inclusive, and so many more that are offered in the area. The main reason we come back year after year is for the beach. The beach is absolutely stunning with crystal clear blue water and sandy white beaches. Not only do we love the beach, we love the culture. This area is rich with history and celebrating ancient Mayan culture. You can spend a day at nearby Tulum exploring ruins and learning about how the Mayan’s lived. If you have never experienced Mexico or this part of Mexico, I highly recommend putting it on your list of places to visit!

Now to the outfits! I am hoping I can give you inspiration for your next tropical destination and what to wear. When visiting somewhere tropical it’s important to remember that it will not only be warm, but extremely humid. I tend to live in loose dresses, shorts, and of course a a swim suit! This adorable Lily Pultizer dress is one of my favorite purchases this summer. This dress screams summer and has the brightest colors. Plus who doesn’t love a flamingo dress?!
Been obsessed with this Amazon find, the cutest cover up! This knit cover up can be worn over a swim suit or with shorts. So versatile and comes in several different colors. This area where I’m standing is called Pueblito, which means village. A charming village with shops, cafes, and a beautiful church. This is one of many unique areas on the property of the resort I go to every year. The property has four hotels lush with tropical forest and a stunning beach with crystal clear waters. The wonderful thing about the Cancun/Playa Del Carmen is area is that there are many highly rated hotels that offer just about anything and everything you could want from a vacation.
My favorite maxi dress that I have purchased ever! A beautiful emerald color and has such beautiful flow.
My favorite new swim suit this year! This adorable two piece is from the Becca line sold exclusively at Everything, but water. You can only find this suit on their site or in store. It’s the perfect summer color for the beach!
Who doesn’t love a cute high waisted short? This adorable print paired with a cute hot pink body suit screams summer.
Another Amazon find, this crocheted and linen cover up was perfect for the beach. The bright colors give all the summer vibes.

The cutest swim cover that I actually wore as a dress on the trip home. Very comfy and not your normal cover up, not see through and made of a good light weight material.
