Summer Beauty Favorites
I love summer and being by the pool (or beach) months, but with that comes a change in my beauty routine and the makeup I wear. Below I’m sharing my must have summer beauty products!
Agave Lip Balm– I’m always searching for an everyday lip balm that hydrates my lips and can be worn alone or underneath lip color. I tried this agave lip balm and lip scrub and was impressed. Made from all natural ingredients, the agave balm hydrates your lips and isn’t greasy. I wear this balm everyday to keep my lips hydrate, but love to wear especially when I’m out in the sun.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer – I was skeptical on trying a new concealer, I had been using the same one for years and thought I couldn’t be swayed, I was wrong! The shape tape contour concealer from Tarte does live up to the hype. It goes on smooth, has full coverage, and blends so well. I like to use a beauty blender to blend for the coverage I am looking for, a little bit of product goes a long way. This product is only sold at Ulta stores!
Drunk Elephant Luxury Face Oil– I am a big fan on face oil, primarily because of how dry and sensitive my skin is. I wasn’t sure I Drunk Elephant would be worth it since their products are on the pricey side, but again I was wrong! I bought this face oil and the hydra whip moisturizer, both have been great for my skin and I also like to mix the two together when I’m having an extra dry skin day. This oil helps keep my skin hydrated when I’m traveling and while in the sun. I like to put on the oil and let it soak in then follow with a BB cream or tinted moisturizer for a day out by the pool.
Amazon Clay Blush– This blush is a must have summer trips! If you’re looking to have rosy cheeks on the beach or a low key look this blush is for you. It lasts all day and comes in so many different shades. I personally love to use the color “soft rose” for a summer bronzed look.
Quick Fix Hydra Spray– I usually only use setting sprays on nights out when I know I wont be able to touch up my make up, but this priming spray changed my mind! I love to use this spray particularly when I am out on the beach or vacation because my skin tends to dry out faster. This spray pumps hydration back into your skin and and keeps make up looking fresh even when your sweaty and poolside. I like the way the product makes me skin feel so I tend to use it throughout the day when in the sun.
Marcelle BB Cream– Hands down one the best BB creams I have ever used! I found this years ago through a sample from BirchBox and have been using it ever since. The product is lightweight and offers good coverage while not being glittery or too shiny. I love the color for my skin tone as I can use it on a gym day or a day at the beach.
Tropical Vibes Bag– My tropical vibes bag was under $10 at Nordstrom Rack! I love finding cute things on a bargain, unfortunately they are sold out online, but I’ve linked a cute bikini bag that’s under $15 and so adorable for your summer travels.
