Howdy Y’all! I’m so excited you’re here and I can’t wait to show you all of my decor and Christmas trees!
The holidays are here and I’m so thrilled to able to show you my home and how I decorate for the holidays. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a ton of work because honestly it is, but to me its so worth it. What I have learned over the years is to start early, I usually start by putting up trees room by room the first week of November. Then I slowly start bringing out my decor and decorative items. Each tree you will see how its own color palette and style. My decor for the most part is traditional, I just love red, green, and gold for the holidays because of its classic look.
The front entry way of my home, I love this chalkboard sign that I purchased last year. Plus adding a few details to make it cozy for the holidays. Can’t forget about my beautiful tree for the entry way, how fun is the red and white?
This is my newest tree that I added last year, I wanted to do something different and just love the red and white combo. It’s very whimsical, but fun I’ve added fake snow on the bottom to give the illusion of the tree being filled in the bottom! This tree is a skinny 6ft tree. All items were purchased at hobby lobby, at home, or online. The hallway is one of my favorite areas because I have framed Christmas photos from throughout the year, some are from when I was young myself and seeing the photos take me back to memories of being at my grandparents for the holidays. Isn’t that what the holidays are about? Remembering loved ones and thinking about the memories you have while creating new ones. The holidays bring up so many nostalgic moments and I truly cherish the holidays because of that.
How cute is this dress?! I have just have to tell you how much I love this dress and how adorable it truly is for the holidays. Also very comfy and roomy to hide all those Christmas cookies I’m going to be enjoying.
This is my favorite tree, but mainly because this tree represents me. It’s full of rose gold, pinks, gold and all of my favorite things. If you’re also wondering what room this is, it’s what I like to call my lounge! It would typically be a formal dining room, but designing the room this way is way more fun and functional for our uses.
Better photo of my tree, I’ve collected things throughout the years and also picked up a few from our travels. Welcome to the living room! As you can see Raider loves this space too. Full of lights red, green, and gold I don’t think there is such thing as too many decorations.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that soon St. Nicholas would be there.
Taking a short break to enjoy a drink and Raider doesn’t seem to mind! Up next I’m showing you how I decorate the kitchen, since we have an open concept it feeds into the living room so I keep the red, gold, and green colors. Showing off the kitchen, hopefully you saw my reel on Instagram on how easy it is to hang garland! I did not bake these cookies, but they are delicious. Can you tell Raider is being a good boy and hoping for one?
My favorite part of the kitchen, it really just adds so much !
And last, but certainly not least is our master bedroom. I spend a lot of time in this room so of course it needs to be decorated for the holidays! All of my bedding is holiday and from Pottery Barn except the front pillow was bought at a holiday market. I like to mix different textures with the faux fur and mix in holiday patterns. The duvet cover is warm flannel, perfect for those cold winter nights.
Can’t forget about the tree! I love having this small skinny tree in the corner, it really makes the room feel more cozy at night with the lights. This year I changed my colors to gold and white and just love it!
I truly hope you have enjoyed this post and getting a glimpse into my home and how I decorate for the holidays. I hope this post can bring inspiration for you and decorating your home for the holidays. And remember there is no such things as too much holiday decor!!!
